Congratulations to Betty Sutton, and kudos to Tom Ganley for running such a great race

I'd like to congratulate Betty Sutton on her election victory, which allowed her to retain her seat representing OH-13 in the U.S. House of Representatives.

I'd also like to compliment Tom Ganley for running such a strong, spirited and honorable race.

Now it's time to look to the future and decide which direction we're heading in America and Northeast Ohio. I hope you'll do this, Betty Sutton, and consider how you can work with the party in power in the House to make our state and our nation a better place.

There will be opportunities for compromise and working together, and I hope you're willing to do this.

What are we expecting from you and Congress in the next two years, Betty Sutton?
  • A balanced budget and a significant reduction in federal spending.
  • Sensible, comprehensive national energy policy.
  • Extension of tax cuts for ALL Americans, including small businesses.
  • A repeal of the unconstitutional and most-costly portions of the health insurance law passed earlier this year.
Please get this done and prove to us that you're really representing Northeast Ohio.

It's time. Speak up. Vote. Send Betty Sutton home.

Today's the day folks. It's time to bring new faces and new ideas to Washington.

Betty Sutton faces off today against Tom Ganley in the race to represent the people of Ohio District 13 in the U.S. House Representatives.

As you make your decision in the booth today, please remember:

- America isn't about political parties, R's and D's. We're about good people, hard work and good leaders. Vote your conscience and with your heart.

- Tom Ganley has never run for office before, but he's been in business for more than 40 years, has 2 million satisfied customers, created 5,000 jobs and represents a new direction for Ohio and Washington. He's a husband, father and grandfather and has been a good and charitable citizen of Northeast Ohio for decades.

- Betty Sutton is a career politician, took office in the House in 2007, has voted to increase the national debt by $5 trillion, has accepted $20,000 in campaign donations from Nancy Pelosi and her groups in 2010 and championed Cash For Clunkers. She's voted with Speaker Pelosi on legislation 99 percent of the time and failed to support policies to stop job losses as unemployment has jumped to nearly 10 percent in her district.

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog. God bless Ohio and God bless America.

Send a message. Send Betty Sutton home.

With less than 24 hours to go before the polls open on November 2, it's time to send a message to our leaders in Washington and to Betty Sutton.

  • We the people are tired of government over-spending and over-taxing.
  • We are tired of wasteful stimulus programs approved by Betty Sutton that help big banks but do nothing for those of use here in Medina, Lorain, Elyria, Barberton, Akron and Cleveland.
  • We don't want leaders like Betty Sutton who vote to allow a government takeover of the health care system, government making our health care decisions for us or imposing fines on us for not complying with the new, unfair law.
  • We're tired of 10 percent unemployment while Congress tells us what a great job they're doing creating jobs.
  • We're tired of supporting leaders like Betty Sutton who take tens of thousands of dollars in campaign donations from Nancy Pelosi and hundreds of thousands of dollars from pro-abortion special interests.
If you're visiting this blog for the first time, be sure to read through my previous posts. They contain background on Betty Sutton's abysmal jobs track record, her votes to increase our national debt by $5 trillion in less than 4 years, her support of wasteful government spending and her loyalty to her boss, Nancy Pelosi.

Please remember all of this when you vote on Tuesday. Your vote can help change the direction of Ohio and of America.
